Brewster faces north onto Cape Cod Bay. At low tide the water pulls back a mile or more, uncovering tidal flats that are perfect for exploring with kids.
Nickerson State Park has kettle ponds, campsites and miles of trails, and the Cape Cod Rail Trail runs right past it. The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History has walking trails out to the marsh and the bay.
